Har Ghar Dastak
As a part of a series of massive outreach exercises to personally engage with citizens, Janata Dal (United) has conceptualized a door-to-door citizens’ outreach program, “HAR GHAR DASTAK”. The aim of this engagement initiative is to actively interact with more than one crore households, three crore people at more than 10 lakh locations in 10 days. The program across the state will be launched on the 2nd of July by the endeavors of more than 50,000 karyakartas under the honourable leadership of Nitish Kumar.
Nitish Kumar, the true revolutionary and visionary leader that he is, has a number of credentials to his credit in his political career. One of his biggest credentials as a politician has been his painstaking and patient efforts towards shifting the political narrative in Bihar from a stage of despondency and stagnancy towards progressive and inclusive development. Today, records at the national level and platforms at global level have genuinely appreciated Nitish Kumar’s ability for ushering in good governance and strengthening the idea of development with justice.
With state elections around the corner in Bihar, supporters of Nitish Kumar want to reach out to maximum households in the state and reinstate the ideas of their leader in the minds of the electorate. “Har Ghar Dastak” is an attempt to interact with the people of Bihar and help them make an informed choice while deciding on who to give the political mandate.
Nitish Kumar himself has been reaching out to the people of Bihar through innovative practices like ‘Janta ke Darbar mein Mukhyamantri’, ‘Vishwas Yatra’, ‘Vikas Yatra’, ‘Sewa Yatra’, and ‘Nitish Connect’. Continuing with his practice to establish a personal connect with the en masse in addition to his commitments towards the state as the Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar will initiate the call to action for his party workers by personally knocking the doors of ten households on the day of this launch.
